The first of the seeds sown in autumn has come to fruition. This mini beetroot had almost pushed itself out of the ground. I used the leaves, wilted, amongst other veggies with some udon noodles. And grated the beetroot in a salad sandwich.

Here's hoping the forecast rain for this weekend actually comes. The garden and tank are desperately dry.
