The weekend

I was a bit of a sloth yesterday, it was kinda nice sleeping in, reading the paper and drinking cups of coffee in bed. I whipped up the store bought meringues pretty quickly for dinner/dessert with the girls. Mascarpone, sweetened with vanilla sugar, fresh strawberries and a home made & grown passionfruit sauce. A nice mix of sweet and tart.

Yum! Your meringues and the damper over at bwarna blog, I think I could happily live off both if stranded on a desert island for awhile. Your making my mouth water. :)

yum these look so good, love the sound of the marscarpone. I made meringue yesterday too, it was a disaster so it ended up as eton mess! I hope you had a lovely dinner and weekend : )
