Warmth

With a few hours spent in the car this weekend, to and from the snow, there was plenty of time to finally weave in the ends of my scarf. I was even able to wear it on the slopes and I tell you there was no draft down my neck. Very thankful for it's warmth as the wind was fierce out there.

That scarf looks soooo cozy - and it's grey! I love grey hats and mitts and scarves.

Here, it is still 28C - but summer is coming to an end. It is about this time that I start looking forward to fall and getting to bring out my heavier clothes (more clothing options). I'm not looking forward to the cold, mind you, but I do love snuggling into a scarf and mitts.

Oh I love it it looks amazing, was it complicated? I hope you enjoyed the trip. I could use your scarf right now pretty sure it's near snowing outside : )

Reading the pattern was a little challenging. Certainly helps to have someone in the know. It wasn't complicated so much as awkward to knit, twisting the cable needle and knitting with big fat needles. For my first cable effort I'm pretty happy!

Wow! This is gorgeous, the colour, the pattern, everything really! I'm pretty impressed. I can just about knit but have never attempted cable but this is tempting me. Also our summer is nearly ending and I need to start thinking about winter supplies lol!
