The walk to get my daily coffee is a touch dull. But today I noticed a tree covered in these tiny blooms. I definitely think this will form the basis of my inspiration for botanical illustration classes starting again next week.

I love this time of year- that magnolia (is it? or camellia?) is just divine...
I don't think it's either of them. Their buds tend to be more oval and green, rather than black brown. Pipe in if you know what it is!
It is funny the little things you notice that seem so mundane when you aren't really looking. These are very pretty.
