Judging a book by it's cover

For good reason Tabitha King won an Australian Publishers Association (APA) Book Design Award in 2008 for Best Designed General Fiction Book for The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society. I love the typography and the use of simple, elegant illustrations. The book is a pleasure to read and design certainly adds to the appeal.

I'm a sucker for typography. Stumbled across this while walking through the city yesterday. As you approach it from the side it's a jumble of letters. Then it all becomes clear.
